Yet another in my series of little Fantasy/Horror busts
This one reflects my fascination with muscular anatomy...it's a bit grusome I suppose but I happen to find the intricate interaction of the muscles and bone just under our skin quite beautifull. I'm not too happy with the head on this piece as I think now that it should have had some facial muscles in place....as it stands it doesn't make sense to be just clean skull...but I still like the rest of the sculpt.
8" high and sculpted in water based clay. Kiln fired and painted with acrylics
